The Bertram Athletic Field in Salem, MA has been and always will be an icon for the City of Salem. Beacon Architectural Associates was brought in to provide recommendations and design new buildings for locker rooms, public amenities, and facility maintenance. The project aimed to have minimal disruption to the school and hospital adjacent to the site and create a state-of-the-art athletic facility for the City.

During my time at Beacon, I assisted in preparing a feasibility study for multiple phases of renovations, created a 3D model of the existing site to locate new buildings and accessibility improvements, analyzed the impact to the school and surrounding neighborhood, and attended public forums for the community to learn and ask questions about the project.
