ABOUT

I’ve always had a fascination with cities, and when the opportunity came to complete my college education in Boston, I jumped on it. My years at Wentworth opened my eyes to all of the possibilities of architecture, and with the help of Professor Manuel Delgado, I found my love of urban design.

Nothing strengthened the passion my urban planning studios had given me more than my semester abroad in Europe. My program was based in Berlin, Germany, but I was incredibly fortunate to be able to visit seven other countries during those ninety days - France, Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, Greece, Netherlands, and Poland - which did nothing but make me fall even more in love with city grids, pedestrian walkways, greenscape, and smart transportation.

During my graduate year, my love was solidified. I traveled to Spain with Professor Delgado, visiting Barcelona, Girona, and Madrid, and spent even more time in an urban setting. Those ten days, combined with my thesis on walkability in Boston, told me everything I needed to know about the person I wanted to be, the career I wanted to have, and the field I wanted to make an impact in.

Now, working in downtown Boston, every day I look out my office window and am reminded of the path I'm on to be where I want to be. I'm looking forward to more opportunities to work with the city to continue the fight for pedestrian-oriented design.
