CURRENT FAVORITE SPOT IN BOSTON

POST

OFFICE

SQUARE

I've been working downtown for almost three years, and don't venture far when I need to grab lunch. Lately I've been going on walks during my lunch hour, and while I've travelled through Post Office Square several times, I've never taken a moment to just sit and take it all in. Even though it's bordered by two major streets, it felt like I was alone in the city, just listening to the wind pass through the trees and lengthy vines.

CURRENT FAVORITE SPOT IN THE WORLD

When I found out I was spending three months in Europe, my Italian heritage put Italy at the top of my must-visit list. However, not much compares to the feeling I got stepping through the Propylea and seeing the Parthenon for the first time. Studying it in architectural history and then being able to stand in front of it were so different. It was a surreal experience, and even though we only spent an hour there, that visit has stayed so close to my heart.
